I've also ordered it but I think I won't pick it up until they release a patch. They're really spewing on the POR2 Board!

Thanks, but we searched the second floor and no Jaheira. Talk about the cruelty of fate! Still maybe we missed her, next time I'm in the docks I'll give it another look. Thanks.

Krimmy, Jaheira left after resting and left us a note. She definitely wasn't in Harpers Hold, we fought 3 mercenaries at the ground floor but couldn't find anyone else in the building.

Re. the fight with Bhodi I can't remember the weapons my friend is using. Drizzet is in the room with us and my ...

Krimmy, Jahiera was taken but we didn't find her on the second floor. What a hassle, I was growing quite fond of her.

We've reloaded once for Bohdi, I guess we'll have to keep on reloading.

Thanks

Can't kill Bhodi

I'm playing a LAN multi-player and we're in Chpt 6. We're fighting Bhodi and everythings going well but she won't die. We've had her at near death for an insanely long time. Any ideas?

Also Jahiera left our party and when we went to Harpers Hall in the Dock area - no Jahiera. Is she going to turn ...

Thanks Rail, BTW do you know what ability Druids have to be 17 in? I figure fighters need strength 15 for a duel fighter/druid.

Duel class

I would like to duel class a druid. Is this possible. I know I have to be a human to duel but I can't seem to find the essential ability scores for a fighter/druid. I guess I'd really like to be a ranger/druid and if it's possible could someone let me the ability scores needed for that combo. Thanks

This is entertaining but very hard to believe. The unknown spell seems like Abi-Dalzims Horrid Wilting, another level 8.

Very disappointed Mythalos. Stupidity is bad enough, but a direct lie shows a total lack of character. Please change your name to Scumbo the Lying Worm.

Deac, I really hope you're right, as I want POR2 to be a sucess. I guess I worry that all the TB fans are yesterdays people who have been overtaken by RT w/pause but don't yet realize it. It's been a very long time since there was a TB crpg, maybe the memories won't be as good as the reality ...

I think the games sucess is going to swing on the combat system. With RT w/pause and all the other RT games out there most gamers have got used to the fast fluidity that such combat systems provide. TB could be great but I fear it might be slow, boring and stodgy. I've heard that you can make turns ...

Get the game it's really good and holds up well. While you're at it you should get IWD with the HOW expansion. All these infinity engine games are similar and great fun.

I would suggest that you organize LAN multiplayer sessions. The hardware is cheap, an ethernet hub, cable and network card. This is what I'm doing, once or twice a week I take my box and monitor around to a mates place and play BG2 for 4/5 hours. BG2 is such a big game that I think you're going to ...

A mage without Level 6 or 7 spells is going to make some of the fights very difficult. I like a 4 person party occasionally filling the 5th spot for an interesting quest.

My current primary character is a female, duel class thief/mage with Jahiera, Mazzy and Nalia tagging along. I plan to dump ...

It is good fun to disarm a party member that you have decided has to go and let them do point duty. It was especially relevant in BG where lots of the NPCs wouldn't let you get rid of their little buddy and would insist on leaving with them.

You're taking that setback remarkably well, adversity is the best way to measure character - not much of a consolation though!

Solo is too easy if you know what you're doing. A party without a thief or mage would present some difficulties. You could give Yoshi the flick until you need him for Spellhold. It's my understanding (it could be flawed) that you need Yoshi for Spellhold.

Your greatest problem is that there are no ...

The friends spell is what you should use when at a merchants, it makes a significant difference to the price you buy at. In BG I used Algernons (sp) cloak to brilliant effect which is basically a charm spell. It was great fun getting an enemy mage to waste all of his/her spells before wasting them ...

BG2 for me is a lot harder. The dragons, liches, mindflayers, Kangaxx have all presented me with very tough battles. I feel that you have all the tough monsters of BG with a few harder ones added for measure.
