Best adventures? The ones I'm playing right now I guess, in a homebrew setting based on D&D and Arcana Evolved . My home made campaign/adventures.

Best published adventure? I'd go with the Shackled City Adventure Path. Or The Banewarrens. Try to google these names and you will find information ...

DC in D&D 3.0 and 3.5 means Difficulty Class. This is the number you have to beat with a roll of a [d20+modifiers] in the system, the modifiers varying whether you make a skill roll, saving throw, ability check, attack roll etc.

Nay

Armored arcana is a weak and poor feat. If it was 10% on the spell failure alright, but 5% is just not worth it for just a few spells you might fail if you wear a magic leather armor.

Found it

Thanks for your help guys. :)

I could find my way through the Fell Wood after many, many scriblings on pieces of paper. This wasn't easy and was, indeed, very frustrating. The following maps of the Cold Marshes, the Dragons and Duergar are a piece of cake compared to this.

Fell Wood - path to the Pond?

Hi everyone.

I just completed the Missing Children quest of Chapter Three. I am now in front of Carynara, the Spryte/Fey, and she told me how to go further east in the forest. "From the pond, go East, NorthEast, NorthWest to find a small creek, then North West, North East and South East."

All ...

Okay.

Do you actually own the PHB? ( Player's Handbook of Dungeons and Dragons )
There you will find most of the domains, the special abilities they give, and the additional spells (in the Chapter about magic, at the beginning, in the spell lists of all classes). Those are the domains reproduced ...

May I ask, then, what you particularly need about domains? What would you like to find, in fact? New domains? Parameters/rules to create them yourself?

Okay. :)

Apart of the PHB and Faiths and Pantheons, I do not know of another supplement that would develop cleric domains. Did you try to look at the Book of Vile Darkness and the Heroic Deeds to see if there's something about them?

Copies toward other Computer

Hi there!

I am currently playing Temple of Elemental Evil on a computer that is not mine.

I would like to know what files I have to copy exactly to implement the campaign I'm playing on my computer, apart of the game itself. The character(s) I created and the saves I suppose?

Thx for any tips.

*sigh*

This is my mistake. As I am currently designing using Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed, I mixed up actual editions of classical AD&D and D&D. My apologies guys. I just verified and you're right.

The wizard in D&D doesn't add spells that way. He learns them when they become available (aka finds them in a dungeon or buy scrolls etc) and copy them in his spellbook.

A sorcerer on the other hand learns spells with levels. See? :)

My choices are outside of the poll: Storm Silverhand and the Simbul.

So I voted for the next one in line: Khelben "BlackStaff" Arunsun.

Chapters, Amazon.com ... you can find Forgotten Realms fiction almost anywhere these days.

Really.

Good titles? Not really. *sigh*

Not by the standards of Michael Moor c o c k (that's his name... damn censure) or JRR Tolkien is you see what I mean.

But the Cormyr series for instance are not bad ...

... for example... a 4th level wizard that is slain, remains the spells he learned when he leveled-up to 4th level? when he's brought back, he looses a level (to 3rd). when he gets enough xp to level-up to 4th again, does he learn two new spells?

Yes to both.

A wizard having a level drained by ...

Every player should have a Players handbook or you should be able to share some if you aren't sure if d&d is the thing for you.

Just one PHB (player's handbook) is enough really, but two can become handy (one copy for the DM, one for the players).

About the MM (monster manual) - it is necessary ...

I would need you to explain two things to me before I attempt to answer your initial question:

- How did you start your previous campaigns? Give me a few examples of what you do.
- How do you think they fail? How are playing your PCs, and what are they not grasping, in your opinion?

1/ Races - there is the excellent Unapproachable East , a FR regional sourcebook; Races of Faerun is a sourcebook about all the subraces of the main ethnicities of the Realms. GREAT for what you are searching for.

2/ Prestige Classes - really there, ANY sourcebook will do. Prestige Classes are the ...

Actually, the Underdark supplement to the FRCS (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting) is optional at this point.

The base racial stats of drow can be found in said FRCS. :)
