I would say ditch Yoshimo for Jan (great thief!!) and get Mazzy!
I'm currently playing with her and she can give and take a beating! and with her own powers u really don't need more divine power. (she can heal herself with a lay in hands abillatie)
Later on swap Nalia for Imoen and you should be fine!

The sewer quest for the sword is easy. Also the circus tent quest and the quest for xan is easy (although the mages u have to defeat to enter the harper building maybe difficult). these are nice quests early on.
and for leveling up buy scrolls and learn spells for very easy and big exp.

i think u need about 150 skillpoints in pickpocketing and with that u can almost pickpocket everyone. with 2 Potions of Mastery Thievery (+80%) in the pickpocket skill you hit the 150% very easely

I want to have aerie, edwin, mazzy and jan (never played with mazzy from the start, jan is a good thief and i simply love edwin and like aerie :D )

there should also be an autosave made when u go from lvl 1 to 2 just delete an old save and u should get the autosave back and u can start lvl 2 from the top and since u only got to the bedroom there isn't much u have to redo.

for your saved files u should find them on your Computer go to
Program Files -> Black Ilse -> Baldurs Gate -> save

hi i wanted to know if u place items in a box in BG1 do they stay there or are they lost when u play Tosc?

when u kill the dogs in nalia's castle and collect their meat u can make a dog stuw of it in the kitchen. u will need to kill all 4 dogs to complete it! when u put the pot of dogmeat in a area ad the prison in the basement u can lure the umberhulks there so they don't bother u.

most wand (summoning/fire/cloudkill/lightning) have a max charge of 50 the wand of fear and frost have a charge of 100.
