argggh again with the crashes

hey man the games crashin again, this time whenever i touch a lich, when before it was fire elementals and air elementals. The game just stops and it starts spinning the game disc. I think its looking for something, did they change those creatures in any of the ...

I am at the part in chapter 3 where im to enter the wizards dungeon to retrieve the snowglobe. A crash in the game ,due to the hordes patch, makes it impossible to physically encounter the air and fire elementals. a couple of quick questions. is there any way to repatch neverwinter nights to the version before the hordes of underdark patch. the game has been unplayable since i patched it. Also, do you have to own the expansions to play a downloaded module. Any reccomendations on good modules to play.

After tons of trying and buffing my playdisc is just shot. Im a chapter away from finishing the game and I want to finish it. Both my computers wont read it.
