Collateral Damage

I see the expression 'collateral damage' rearing its ugly head in this thread. If ever there was an expression that should be expunged from the English language its 'collateral damage'.

There's always Roger the Fence down in the sewers. I'm not sure about the guy who hangs about south of the Harper gaff at night. Don't bother trying the Theives Guild because they (of all people!) get snotty about you selling stolen goods.

Everone that have only played SoA/ToB should go pick up BG1. After that they will learn to cheerish everything with a + :D

I remember getting my hands on that +2 long sword (Varscona ?) from Greywolfe in BG1. It made me feel like the king of the world!

I'm not sure if you are asking why the Romans changed to the throwing spear/short sword combo or why the combo became so effective.

To try and answer the second part first, the thrown spear (which evolved through time to become lighter and longer ranged) would break up a charge or disrupt a phalanx ...

My favourite character name is that of my assassin: Angra Mainyu. In Zoroastrianism he was the evil twin son of Ahura Mazda and the maifestaion of evil, darkness, destruction, injustice and death. What more could an assassin ask for?

If you are a thief and you refuse the stronghold (didn't feel it fitted with my swashbuckler) then he gives you the sword.

Only the protagonist gets 100k, if the romance is 'going well'. It doesn't register at the bottom of the screen so you'll have to check the profiles screen.
