Its gotta be the Daedric Cresent Blade.

I don't have GOTY yet but i heard that the crashing wasn't as bad. MY Xbox does crash occasionally but will it still happen as much on GOTY?

I just made a new character. I Breton 'Priest'. I am only using hand to hand combat and magic for him. Also i am not going to train, steal or loot anyone. This should make the game more of a challenge.

When you get near the end of great house quests, you will need to build a stronghold to advance. Each house offers a different stronghold. You will be told when you have to make stronghold by the quest giver of each house.

My favourite long blade weapon is the Daedric Cresent Blade. It may not be the best but its unusual shape makes it, in my opinion the best looking on sword on Morrowind. I don't have GoTY yes so i haven't seen any of the new swords on it.

Unfortunately the most powerful weapons in the game are long swords, you probably could use your staff to the end of the main quest but if i were you i would look for a new one, maybe an ebony one.

Is this the one where you get the notes for Cauis? If it is then do the quest, get the notes and see if Cauis will accept them.

For your mage why don't you make some of your own spells. When i had a mage i made 100fire damage in 20 ft. Then repeat it with frost damage and shock. Try and combine them to maximise damage. Pretty much takes out anything with a couple of blasts.

I have had many characters over the time i played morrowind but i usually end up deleting them and starting fresh. I only have 1 character at the moment, a Dark Elf Assassin, lvl 47. I am planning a Breton Mage, a Nord Warrior and a Dark Elf vampire.

Do the Imperial Legion quests. As you increase in rank you will be rewarded with new armour. Templar armour is second from last armour that you recieve.
