I've been looking for a place to play online. I played pen & paper D&D for about a year(almost 15 years ago) but don't remember much of the specifics. Is there anything I need to know before trying to play online?

multiple henchmen

In the NWN OC and in SoU, you can only have one henchman at a time. In HotU, you can have two if one of them is Deekin. You should also try to complete the quests for all the henchmen if possible.

BTW, I just finished the NWN OC last weekend, and I have to agree, the ending was somewhat of a let down. I started on SoU last night again (played briefly when it first came out, then quit). I did import my NWN character, only because I want to try a high level character in HotU. I will probably go ...

preparing for HotU.

If I'm not mistaken, all your gear will be stolen from any character you import into HotU. I believe you will still have your gold, but ...

Actually, you wont "give" the henchmen anything ever in original NWN, it will just disappear from your inventory when you've talked to them enough. After talking with the henchmen, you'll get a multiple choice selection in the conversation, like "give petrified ...

Tried changing the camera, but it didn't help. I am thinking about trying a Dramamine or something similar to see if that helps. If it's sea / motion sickness related, I'm guessing that would help.

I'll pay closer attention next time and see if I notice it. It sounds like I'm probably just missing it with all the other stuff that's going on.
Also, as a side note...does anyone else get emailed when someone replies to a thread they are subscribed to? If so, does your message contain an invalid ...

Thanks for the info. I know about the differences between vampiric regen vs standard regen. I just wasn't noticing any regen when I used him in a battle. Of course, it's possible that I overlooked it while trying to not die. ;)
I did not know about changing him for long to short or other after he ...

Hmm..I've never had that happen. Never been bothered by sea sickness, even on an LST floating from Okinawa to Thailand in rough sea. Flown lots and never been air sick or car sick. I had something similar happen to me several years ago. I think I was playing Doom. My boss & I had to be in the office ...

Feel sick while playing

I'm curious, does anyone else get nauseous while playing Morrowind? I had forgotten how bad it made me feel until I re-loaded it last week and started playing again. I have it on my home and work pc and it plays super at home on my new pc compared to the old one, but I can't play for more than an ...

Part of my 'attraction' to the mage character class comes from the Dragonlance stories. I liked the character Raistlin. He was a very sickly, weak, and frail human, but was still a powerful mage. When I play a mage, sometimes I will play a 'Raistlin' type character with very low strength, no armor ...

I'm not a big 'gamer', but within the last couple years, started playing Morrowind and NWN. I am always amazed by those of you that have the stats mapped out for different levels of different classes with all the feats, spells, hp, etc. From those of us that enjoy reading (and benefit from) the ...

I have him as a long sword also (by choice). I've noticed that when I use him, I don't notice the vampiric regeneration effect to be working. Is there something I need to do (equip, etc)? I'm a mage at heart, but have used the sword specifically to get regeneration. What am I missing here? And do ...

It's been a while since I played, but I recall having several daedric weapons in my 'hideout' outside of Balmora. I also had a staff I created that was pretty nasty.
I enjoyed going to the coast and punching the mud crabs for fun!
