Firstly, bring back NPC sidequests - in fact, their stories should all intersect the main storyline. They need to be more integral to gameplay, because right now you can basically neglect them altogether and not have anything turn out differently. So why have a party at all?

Party members should ...

This happened to me my second time playing. After I fought the Handmaiden Sisters, it's like the two of them (Kreia and Bao Dur) never properly joined up with me again. I can have them talk to me, as y'all have mentioned, but the big pain in the butt is that I can't talk to Kreia on the ship to get ...

Disciple appears at some point if you play as male, but his name is Mical (if I remember right).

He's decent if you load him up with Force powers, and if you like the goody-goody types :) Sort of the Luke to Atton's Han.

It was around 50 hours for me the first time, because I did all the sidequests and listened to every character I talked to. I played without any walkthroughs the first time.

So far the second time around is taking about half as long.

2. T3-M4 zapping HK-47: Revan didn't want anyone following him/her. I'm guessing that HK-47 would try to follow, being that Revan is his Master.

3a. GOTO & Remote: I was annoyed at this too. It seems that in a LS game the remote wins, and in DS it's GOTO. It's like they got overly ambitious ...

I think a lot of it stems from just how complicated things got - they had to not only build on the first game, but also juggle all the different ways things could play out. You couldn't have Carth or Bastilla as central characters because, if I remember right, you get the chance to kill both of them ...

I forget where I read this, but apparently this was where they were originally going to put in a third ending. You would have been able to turn back to the lightside at the last minute, only to find that it was too late to escape the Star Forge before it was destroyed by the Republic fleet. You and ...

It's all going to come down to the storyline. The plot and the characters. Everything else is just adding to something they already have. Without the new storyline, they're essentially just taking KOTOR 1 and modding it up.

That's why romances and side quests do matter, because they draw you into ...

You get the option to tell Master Uthar who you are in Naga Sadow's tomb, in which case the people in the academy won't attack you when you leave.
