In the thread "What happened, GB" several of us really old members appeared. The thread is of course focused on GB and not us as individuals, but seeing the likes of Kiddo, Weasel, Minerva, my countryman Karembeu made me curious to find out what actually happened to you all.

I'm frankly amazed how many really ancient members actually appeared for one or two posts in this thread. I think it's time to start an "update" thread for us to dwell in and shed sentimental tears

I second that. I was not drawn to GB by walkthroughs, or novelties, or anything "sparkly" for that matter. It was "just" the people that took time to participate, and quite a lot of them are still around.

The essences work similar to the keys. They drop from the act bosses with a ratio of approximately 1/13 (Andy and Duriel drop the same essence). You cube them, and get a 4th respec. Pretty lame as a "mystery quest" reward since you already have 3 respecs from the Den of Evil at each difficulty ...
