I'd try first reloading, and then making sure you have the patch installed. If both of those don't work, check your settings by making sure the walk isn't toggled, etc. If I remember correctly, I think there is a runspeed command somewhere in the console if all else fails ...

actually, if you are at the beginning and cannot open the first door, i is most likely becasue of that specific in-game bug. Try saving and then reloading your game in front of the door and then try it...hope this helps.

indeed...even after reloading(if you hav that bug), it can still be difficult to find the right angle on it, as it only moves a bit at a time(what was the point in having that anyways? Why do game developers always have to make things difficult?)

in case you are ondering, fat larry is behind that white truck near the right of the taxi(on the corner down the road), He sells the fireax, an awesome weapon that alot of poeple use the majority of the game(until samuri swords in chinatown)

hah, well, even though I have answered this same question from other people at least 10 times,i will answer it again...one last time. First of all, there is a major bug in the game which prevents most people from opening these doors(either by trying to press E or just push on the bar). All you have ...

actually, there is also a huge bug where the bar doesn't move even after doing that...all you have to do is reload the game to fix your bu(make sure you save first in front of the door). Hope this helps(bugs suck)
