I think sacrificing a peasant does not result in alignment change. However, accepting Sarevok's challenge definitely does (and you don't even have to turn into slayer, just react on his words). I am not sure about the other choices.

This got me into a problem - I decided to get those 3 strength ...

I don't remember it bouncing back area damaging spells, only the spells directly targeted on the wearer. Plus, if the caster is inside of the affected area he will take the damage anyway, but the area won't move towards him of someone inside wears the cloak. It also does not bounce back spells that ...

Well, I loved Erica's journal so much I asked Kitka's permission to transfer it from BGdungeon to the separate site to keep it from disappearing with BGDungeon (I know I am bad - it still lacks the very last bit of the story and pictures galore. Probably should go and fix it now). It also inspired ...

WS cannot use rings (any magical rings) and potions. What you can do is to use the rod of resurrection and the restoration scrolls. Both will completely heal you, but the 2nd scroll results in fatigue. Actually, after a while you just do not get hurt, and the pearly white ioun stone and dragon sword ...

It is a bit strange to me that nobody mentioned beastmaster. When I was picking a class for my solo game WS and beastmaster were considered the hardest.
And for the WS, as strange as it might sound, the most crucial stat is intelligence. Everything else can be fixed with items and good luck, but ...

Imoen is using the gauntlets of weapon expertise in my game right now and she used g. of weapon skill as well, so you should not be in trouble here. Another advice to stay alive - steal the cloak of Algernon. It was indespensible for my solo bard. Good luck! (BG is much more boring when you play ...

I do not now what is wrong, but I also missed this sword when I played a bounty hunter. Got it in all other games though. Maybe it is something thief-specific? but it surely does not seem fair.

Algernon's cloak for me. It allowed my bard to solo through the first 3 chapters without a single problem. I am sure he would not have problems in Ch4 as well, but I got tired from being alone and picked up Imoen, and later Yeslick. Still, it is the most useful item for me so far.

Actually, not all evil choices result in change of your alignment. The one which surely does is Wraith. BTW, when I did it I gained 1 point of strength immediately, plus two when I placed the tear. So, it is total of three. The other thing is that if you chose evil path while your party is not ...

It is very personal choice. Take whatever class you think is interesting. Some classes give more challenges than others.

My personal opinion? Wizard Slayer. I had a lot of fun with it, although it might be frustrating and one mistake can make it impossible to finish the game.

I agree with ...
