Really? Your install was accompanied by music? Mine was not & I just reinstalled (new to this machine anyway) May 28, 2010. Way back in the long ago, when originally installed, recall a soundless install then, too.

Those wonderful looking axes alone make it nearly irresistable to play TNO as a fighter. However, go to Youtube, type in: palnescape: torment & have a gander at the various spells footage to see the wonder & joy of playing him as a mage, eg YouTube - Planescape Torment Deathbolt spell

Such 'blank outs', in my case anyway, seem to be temp related - vid card or RAM, unsure which, but a shutdown & restart always gets me going again. Remove your case side panel & aim a desktop fan in there. If the problem is solved, you'll know it's been a heat issue.

First time thru the game, had to be Boethiah' skull - an extended exercise in futility & drowning. Being too low level/broke & too stupid to know where/how to get the goods to make it a little easier didn't help any.

Better heads
Better Bodies

everything else is just more icing on the cake

As a Redguard, I learned to like these things just as soon as I found that certain Cuirass. Coupled w/Goldbrand, if I couldn't defeat it, at least I could run from it.

Seems all the races have their champions but I don't recall anyone ever bragging on their Orc creation. I'm thinking of trying out an Orc combined w/maybe the Steed or the Warrior Birthsign. Comments? Experiences?

2 disc ver here & for reasons I'll never understand, neither could I get the Silent King conversation tree fr Stale Mary.

My solution: Annah pickpocketed the Key to the Silent King's throne room fr Hargrimm.

Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago. Most fun I've had pc gaming since discovering Placescape:Torment. Guess its style is not for everyone.

Found this past Saturday in a used book store - PoR:RoMD v1.2 new in the small sealed box - $6.00!, complete w/the 130 pg manual & poster.

Anyhoo, installed to the F drive, no problem, & updated to ver 1.4. Only then do I get a Readme.txt heads up re maybe wanting to install the Patch v1.1 ...
