I've played it for about 5 hours today and it's great. Graphics are as good as I was expecting up close, however the distant views are verging on apalling. The trees stand out fine but the hillside they stand on looks like someone smudged it with oil pastels or something like ...

I would be very dissapointed if they used the single henchman system in BG3. One of the defining things about the BG series was all the great NPCs you could find and recruit into your party, and after seeing that side of the game evolve so well as it did from BG1 to BG2, it would be a shame to see ...

While it is certainly possible that they simply revised that part of the story, I had always simply reasoned that Gorion didn't want you to know that your mother was an evil preistess of Bhaal. So he simply made up the part about her being his lover and Bhaal forcing himself onto her.

So yes, in my ...

As I recall, she should be just outside the Harper building, perhaps a bit south of the main entrance. You probably walked right by her when trying to gain entrance to the building itself.

Tazok is actually an ogre warrior, the same one who ran the bandit camp in Baldur's Gate. The mage is a different person who you encounter later in the dungeon. But yes, that is where you get the sewer key as I recall.

I read the Baldurs Gate novel and it was indeed terrible. Very poorly written. I had actually picked up the entire series, but I couldn't even bring myself to read the rest after trudging through the first one. Definitly not recommended.

I just don't like talking about Anomen :P . I'd say because he's arrogant, ignorant, and annoying in general. I think his personality is perfectly crafted to make me hate him.

I always liked the story surrounding Werewolf Island. It was interesting because in the end, you really screwed things up, even though you were manipulated into doing so. And the only solution ends up being killing everyone you hadn't already killed. I liked how it showed that not every quest is as ...

I would just like to say that the quest is a fun sidebar to have going on during your game, and some of the dialogues you'll have with Edwin during it are very funny. Definitly something you should touch on if you've never done it before.
Lol, which girlfriend? Coran has about ten in the original Baldur's Gate! He's a pimp! Or a gigilo, I guess (Don't know how to spell that one, sorry).
Now that I think about it, it's actually Safana.

Coran is in one of the forest regions just outside Suldanessellar, looking for his girlfriend or something.

Ajantis is one of the paladins you accidentaly kill upon entering the Windspear Hills because of Firkraag's illusions. If Keldorn is in your party, he will identify his body.

For me, the combat is what makes BG2 fun to play over and over again. I played BG1 and TOSC countless times, and now I just can't bring myself to trudge through it anymore because it seems like a point and click adventure in comparison to playing SoA and ToB. The higher levels of both your ...

Download that program, then use it to open the acm files in your BG2 music folder. This will convert them to wav files which you can of course listen to!

Since I've played through the entire BG series many times, I like challenge myself now when I play. If you're interested in Aerie and Haer'Dalis, you will certainly get an interesting story out of them if you choose to romance Aerie while Haer'Dalis is in your party. And if you like Anomen and want to keep him in your party, having Keldorn will add some interest to his quest.

I would like for the game to take place in an entirely new region of space, where Revan apparantly went to look for the "true Sith". Let's just say you played both Revan and the Exile as light side characters. The list of people from the first game who could be involved isn't too long...Revan ...

HK-47 is not only one of my favorite characters from the KOTOR games, but one of my favorite NPCs ever. He is just too funny, and I think he's even funnier in the second game. His reflections on traveling with Revan in KOTOR1 were just priceless...
