The battle square joys

Hey all,

This is my second time through IWDII, and both times I completed the full battle squares when I first came upon them. All it takes is A LOT of patience LOL

As mentioned above, save before each round, use any buffing spells possible, and go hack and slash. I ...

BD - Level 4 of the Raal Temple Ruins

Hello all,

I am on level four of the Raal Temple Ruins, where there are four chest and four keys. When you pick up on key the rest disappear. Well, I've got a little trick that let's you pick up and use ALL the keys. Just pick them up while paused.
Just thought I would pass that on.

Eye if the Raanaar

Eye of the Raanaar

Hello again, it appears I am the only one posting threads here LOL

Okay, I was running around through the Raanaar Ruins in Act III. Went and found the "lost relic" for Raze and noticed that, when I hit ALT, a gem lit up in the eye of the Raanaar statue located in the same room ...

The famous disappearing merchant trick.

Hello all, got a curious one for you. I'm in Act III, and just entered the Battlefield for the first time. Was doing all my wheeling and dealing with the merchants (I really do like this aspect of the game) when suddenly, the merchant who is geared more towards armour disappeared. Well, that's ...

Just a note, from my albeit basic understanding of the 3rd edition rules(which I think this game uses?? If not stop reading this message LOL) the new way that XP is calculated is based on your character level vs Baddies lvl. So, the higher you are (Level wise, what you do on your own time is your ...

So, apparently all that I should be doing is NOT OVERTHINKING THE GAME LOL

It just seems to me that if there is something out-of-place, and yet draws ones attention, then it should have some relevence to the game...

Ahhh well, time to pretend I am working LOL

Bouncing Magical Orbs

Okay, I am in Act 2 Battlefield, and just finished the last area that is available only after picking up the key *Level Six* in the blocked cave.

So, here I am, worked all the way to the bottom level and there's nothing here (this seems to happen quite a bit with the final level having absolutely ...

Hanging Skeletons

Just a curious question, I've been running around and constantly am faced with these skeletons (I think only in the Battlefields, but could be wrong.)

These skeletons are hanging and when you click on them they move (arms stick out, body crouches etc).

Is there any significance to this or are they ...

Well, I am having fun, wrecking havoc and mayhem on my way down the citadel (Scary I know). However, I am back at the barracks area and have just unleashed righteous wrath upon the weapons master.
The room he is in is divided into two by a short wall that I cannot cross. On the other side is a ...

Bloodlust...should I satisfy it?

Hello again all.

Okay, I am nearing the end of Act 1. All I have left is to run ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE BEGINNING to get that damnable coal LOL (As well as the battlefield area 3 which I will do just before ending the act).

Now, here is my figuring. I am going to have to go from the top to the ...

Hello all,

Well, I received Beyond Divinity for christmas and, being the insane RPG player that I am, I immediately installed it and began playing. At first, I must admit, I was not overtly pleased with it. I am an avid fan of the Baldur's Gate style of play, interaction, and rules system, and this ...

Balduran Bonus?

Hello all sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it and have little patience LOL :p

Anyways, my question is this: Is there any bonus if I were to outfit my character completely in Balduran equipment (Sword of Balduran, Shield of Balduran, Plate... Cloak... etc etc)?

I've ...

Well, although I haven't played HOF (after the whole experience level problems I was having, I started Lionheart) I would say that the main benefit to wearing armour would be the damage absorption. Aye, your character is still getting hit, but if you weren't wearing armour, the damage would most ...

Actually, the way it works is that the sword is named after whomever approaches the vendor first. Now, in most cases this will be you lead character. However, in my party, my lead character was a Paladin, but I always made the effort the have my bard approach any vendors (better charisma, better ...

Maybe I'll just take a break from ...

Thanks for the link Neo, but I don't think that was what I was looking for.

Was there somewhere through that link that showed me how to set my characters NEXT level XP required? I don't want to change their current one, just how many XP it requires for them to advance.

I am beginning to think ...

I know this is so frustrating.

I'll give your idea a try and see what happens. Have to wait until I get home though (At work, though as you can see, not working LOL SELF-EMPLOYMENT'S THE WAY TO GO LOL)

I've never had any of my games do this, so it's kind of shocking to be faced with it.

I wonder ...
