For those of you that want an amazing fighter/thief or great character to be your number one tank, try this out:

Human Neutral Good Fighter/Thief (Level 9/X)

Statistics:
- 18 Dexterity
- more than 18/51 Strength
- 18 Constitution
- 9 or more Wisdom

Weapon Proficiencies:
- +5 Long Swords
- +2 ...

In that case, it's much better to go fighter/cleric and fighter/druid and get +5 in Maces and use a shield. I got another party in the works and will post it under a new topic after I'm done with it.

you can do that but you get way less HP and I don't see the reason to stop your cleric skills but I guess you can pick a kit... ranger/cleric is much more efficient IMO.

Also, the site you need is your manual :) It lists all the possible multiclasses.. which are the same as possible dual classes ...

Well, I re-thought the party even more :) This is what I came up with and why :)

My all improved party ready for IWD & HOW. I'm to construct and restart in a few days (obviously all at level 1, no cheating):

Elf Fighter (+5 Great Swords)
- Cairn Blade, Aumanator's Fury

Human Fighter/Thief Level ...

I think this be a much better party now that I've played more and tested some other things out. I personally think my fighter/cleric wasn't as good as the fighter/druid, period. Also, I think a dualed ranger(level 8 or 9)/cleric is way too slow since you basically have to go through 80% of IWD to ...

Favorite class? Can't pick one :)

I personally like:

Human Ranger/Cleric - A lot of spells, cleric & druid, crom fayer/flail of ages/mass of disruption dealing lots of damage

Half-Orc Barbarian - very quick, lots of attacks, rage is better than beserk IMO, long swords and katanas are best ...

In regards to the Kensai/Mage, I think the beserker/mage is much better in many many respects (especially soloing). I think with the added helmets, bracers, etc. that you put on a beserker, the Kensai only gets +1 to damage and +1 bonus to thac0, but the kensai's AC/hp is not as good as the beserker ...

About Crom Fayer and other weapons, the barbarian will pretty much get +2 in almost all weapons and can use whatever else. I did this often throughout the game. Str: 18, Dex: 18, Con: 15, Int: X, Wis: 17, Cha: 17

+2 Two-Handed Swords
+2 Two-Handed Weapon Style

Wields: Carsomyr +5


Half-Orc Barbarian
Str: 19, Dex: 18, Con: 19, Int: X, Wis: >8 ...

Welp, here's what I think about good alignment party members.

I think if you even consider a good alignment character, it's better off to be a warrior type or a combination of a warrior type since there really isn't anything to pick from.
