Request for a new forum...

Have you thought about have a forum to discuss fantasy / sci-fi books ? Most gamers have an interest, and it would be fun to relate them to the stuff we're playing now...
The subject comes up pretty regularly on it's own, maybe it would make a decent forum...

Ya know, I REALLY do know how to spell...

I've just noticed that I have been consistently mispelling in most of my posts. I'm gonna blame it on the uncomfortable angle my keyboard is in, typing in the dark (No, I am not a touch-typist, obviously) exhaustion, and an uncomfortable reliance on my spell-checker....

Sorry !!!! :(

A bit of background....
TSR based the original D&D on Tolkien's works, among other mythology, but Gygax mentioned Tolkien as the major influence. (Hence the hobbit/halfling hubbub) In The Hobbit , Aragorn, aka Strider, described rangers as a secretive group who was there to protect the simple folk ...

also, a point on Netiquitte:
Not everyone on this board uses English as their first language. I'm not saying that this is the case here, but that comment on "translating" could be read as harsh...

Try them both, the obvious answer...

IMHO, they are both fun, challenging, and legit; but very different in game-play...

My first game was a good-aligned full party... the NPC interactions were fun, interesting, and made the game...

The solo game I'm playing now, is challenging at a whole new ...
