Yes I use scripts for all the but hard battles. Easy battles are just a waste of time to tactically take control of every move. For the harder battles I take direct control of my characters. Battles vs masses of mid to easy level mobs is great for the AI script like the Saradush Barracks or the ...

Paladins will get 3 spells of each level up to 4th. Summon deva is a special ability that a paladin can have which is essentiall a lvl 7 priest spell but only better for paladins. Why? Because it doesn't take a precious spell slot for a paladin like it does for a priest.

DOH of course a dual class is going to be more powerful then a single class character. Don't be comparing apples to oranges here. That's like saying that a Kensai/Mage is more powerful then a straight Kensai or a straight Mage. The discussion here is the comparison between Paladins and fighter types.

Draconis was pretty tough...

I reloaded the fight a few times just to fight it over again after I won, don't think I ever made it though the fight without someone getting killed. Few times everyone died. Woe be to the one whom doesn't have true sight when fighting him. The times that I lost he was ...

Crom Faeyr - Yes I know its not a ToB weapon but its still among the best weapons out there. Outpaces the semi equivalent Angurvadal.

Flail of Ages +5 - awesome weapon, awesome effects, awesome damage.

Ravager +6 - 3-18 poison dmg if they dont save with each hit, +6, and vorpal. Best two hander ...

Ok people are saying that Fighters are better then Paladins because of why? Better AC? Better Thaco? Better weapons?

Paladins can wear all the armor that a fighter can wear so their AC is the same only a Paladin's AC can be BETTER because of protection from evil and armor of faith.

Better Thaco ...

Ok I strongly disagree with people saying that paladins can't dish out the damage or tank in this game. I will explain why neither of the above are true.

Paladins can dish out the damage nearly as well as a fighter. Thaco caps at lvl 20 which means fighters and paladins will have the same thaco ...

Posting link to Dragon Music file that I extracted

Not sure if this will work but here goes. I extracted the music using goldwave and a ACM to WAV file converter program. I then had to use Goldwave to merge all the 3 second wav files into one file then used a MP3 encoder to compress the file into an MP3.

That interplay site didn't have many of the themes that I wanted. Anyone know where one can download some of the themes that you guys mentioned? I was able to extract the dragon fight theme and convert it into an MP3 but I'd rather look for some of these themes that are ready to go. It took me over ...

I replaced Minsc with Sarevok in my good aligned party. There hasn't been anyone getting upset and challenging him to a duel (they'd lose) or stomping off leaving the party. You do get a few moments where your good aligned party members get in some verbal arguements with Sarevok but nothing serious ...

A small warning and observation about Sarevok (only minor spoiler)

I noticed that Sarevok has other abilities that aren't normally available to fighters, Deathbringer Assault only being one of them. The other is that he randomly has some kind of ability that stuns opponents or petrifies them. I see critters having to make saving throws constantly when Sarevok ...

The new best weapons for BG2: ToB

These are IMO

Axe of the Unyielding - This weapon goes from being a subpar weapon (worse then stonefire even) to an amazing weapon when upgraded.

Ravager +6 - Probably the best two handed weapon out there. 3-18 poison damage each hit unless saving throw is made and 10% chance of decapitation with ...

Attention: Paladins

Don't have the time to reproduce my math findings here but I mathematically proved that for a paladin Dual Wielding Foebane and the Purifier yielded greater damage output then Carsomyr. Carsomyr is still the best hands down against casting type mobs because dispel effects still owns and higher magic ...

Thank god for Shadow Keeper

I don't use the program to cheat much, just to make a wrong right. There's times in the game where I killed some critters and then left or rested and their loot disppears. For example I killed the statues in Watcher's Keep then left the level. Later I came back when I found out they dropped some ...
