I installed VtM:B on my Toshiba Satellite notebook, that has a ATI 9700 Mobility graphics card. The gameplay is extremely laggy, in that it takes up to 2-3 seconds for the character to start or stop moving. I have no clue in what order to put the figurines.

I'm on level 3 or 4, I'm not sure. I killed everyone there, took the four jaded figurines. I probably need to put them on the pillars. I did, and nothing happened. There's also a switch hidden in the level, and also I have no idea what it does. How to get past this? I'm really frustrated here ...
