I have got two questions in this post:

1) In the Temple District, there's a building called 'Guarded Compound' (or something like that). Is there any quests connected to that particular building or is it simply a place where you can do a bit of meanie spankin'?

Why on Earth would you want to be a HARPER?!?

Maybe you should add a little bit more variation to the damage dealt by the weapon - otherwise a hit would constantly deal 16 points of damage (if no resistances).

You should also have a look at the caves at the Gnoll Stronghold - a Charisma tome is there waiting for you.

What's the deal with all the nobles in bgii??? I mean, aren't they A BIT too many? The noble(wo)man/commoner ratio seems to be something like 1/4. Now that's a piece of historical accuracy if ever I saw one.

That'd be just great, wouldn't it? First you pump up his/her physical attributes and then when it comes down to action won't have the brains to notice it! That character'd be pretty much like a lobotomized pile of meat that's been injected with any steroid in the book.

I would accept neither of the alternatives: Reroll until you get what you want. I bet you could improve the sum of your stats by at least 7 if you kept at it for a while. It's kind of like a low tech way of cheating though IMHO.
