Have you tried the remove curse spell ? I don't know that it will actually work, when I last beat him, I just got lucky and nobody was affected by the death gaze. I hate that whole encounter, I spent more time reloading because I killed that dumb priestess b*tch before she could summon the demon ...

AD&D never appealed to me much as a PnP RPG. It's simplistic and rigid. However while I find those to be faults with a PnP game, for a computer game those are advantages (computers are good number crunchers, but lack the imagination needed to drive an open ended system).
The reason there seem to be ...

Yeah, my first thought was the museum. But they worship Gond and want various clever types of inventions, not historical artifacts. Guess I could try someone in the merchants league, but they are all scum. Probably isn't for anything special anyways. The book is worth alot as part of the reward for ...

Coran... listening to him hit on Dynaheir is rather amusing (though after awhile, I do sometimes feel like renting a room for them and leaving them there). Can't say that I miss Dynaheir in BG 2, she was an average mage at best.

Could be, I'll hold on to them when I export. I don't really need cash at this point.

And the butterknife cannot be wielded, your thinking of either the werebane dagger or Balduran's sword. The dagger is made of silver though (the sword is gold though).

Balduran's tome and butterknife

Anything to do with these items other than sell'em (well, I am keeping the butterknife, Sarevok should be trembling with this artifact in my possession).

Hate lugging around stuff that has no purpose, but then I also hate missing quests because I chucked something I thought was useless.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. Wasn't what I hoped to hear, but then again, it's not that big a deal (woulda been nice to have use of the tomes and manuals I guess).

Yeah, I know high rolls aren't really neccessary. I shoot for decent rolls (after all, anybody else other than a fighter doesn ...

Question for you all

Well, normally I'd check this myself, but as I don't quite have the resources to do so, I hope you all might be able to answer this for me. And I apologize if this has been asked to death, I could not find a related topic through the search function.

Basiclly I was thinking of making a sorcerer in ...
