Maybe you should check if you can use your mouse to look up/down. In my case it was turned off, thatswhy i always had probs finding things on the ground.

PS: I had some problems with the chantry too but i didn't try any solutions. Maybe i find something out tomorrow

It doesn't help, it's a bug that the 1.2 Patch can't remove. I had the same problem (Look at my thread).

All problems cleared. I was angry for 5 hours now that you can't look up/down in that game with the mouse moves, finally i saw how to turn that on. Now everything is easy. Just never seen that before that mouse-look is turned off, lol
