Well, she's died a couple of times in different battles, but I don't save those games. I've never turned on her and deliberately tried to kill her though.

I'm having trouble getting Jaheira to continue the romance. LoveTalk shows 52 under CLUAConsole. I thought I'd reset the LoveTalk variable, but every time I try [SetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",XX) where XX = 54 or any other number] I check it and it shows 52 again!

Am I doing something wrong?

I rested several times before deciding to post the questions.

According to the romance guide I may be at the point where I have to wait for 3 in-game days to pass before Terl will spawn (which I think is the next step) but I'm not sure.

Have you looked on all levels of her lair? I recall battling her in one of the lower levels of the lair, but I can't recall which door lead me there.

To raise your reputation you can visit the temples and make donations. The amount of your donation directly affects whether or not you get an increase in reputation.

Perhaps I AM just being impatient. It's the first time I've gone through the game with the specific purpose of following the romance to its conclusion. Very interesting, to say the least. I'll check the timer to make sure it's counting down, and throw some more rest into the mix ...

I've been following along with the romance guide (to make sure I don't make a wrong move :D ), and my globals say the romance is active, but there hasn't been any 'love talk' between Anomen and my character in quite a while. The last one I remember is the flower.

I've played it both ways and, other than more loot and experience, I didn't find anything worthwhile about the sidetrack. If it had been ALOT more loot and/or ALOT more experience, I might have a different opinion.

Okay, I had to go check. Found an IQ test on the web. Says my IQ is 150. Now I know.

If you drop a character that you create, will he/she stay there or go to one of the general meeting places (like Copper Coronet)?

And can you then add other NPCs to your party to gain the quests?
