I have never tried this approach, interesting. I did not know you could be in the wrong sewer system because I found it the first time and knew where to go from then on. Good advice Celacena.

You may need to blood buff if your lock picking skills are too low. Also remember that some armor can hinder your lock picking skill so change into your original clothes. Also when a lock pick fails it should tell you the required skill needed, make sure you can get to that level or you may need to ...

I went to the ocean house and used auspex. I could not find the woman in the closet that was mentioned before but I did see a spirit I could not see before. Here are some screenshots

Did you side/take his offer (with Boris) or just kill him? If you told him you would kill Venus you may not have the option to talk to her, only kill her. If you took his offer to kill Venus then killed him, you may not be able to do either. This is just a guess as I always sided with her.

I agree it carried the plot forward and maybe Gimble was covering himself.
