Where do I find Voraatus in the Tomb of Souls?

I am in the Tomb of Souls and have opened the door that required the crystal of evil. I entered this door (the crystal created a yellow beam of light that shines on the door) and as I went across the bridge it fell away. I can't jump that distance and the door on the other side has an iron gate ...

I also am over 50 (over 60 actually!) and love this game. It can be hard at times, but keep at it - you can do it! Try slowing time. That's what I did and it helped a lot. I also use slowing time when opening difficult chests. Sure helps.

In another post someone mention that there is a gas mask in the Naga Temple to get the Eye of the Sigil from the vat of gas (need to get to the queen). Is this true - I can't find it. Or do I just have to go really fast - I've tried this several times, but die each time. Any help will be appreciated ...
