Altime favorite would have to be: Phantasy Star IV, on the sega megadrive :D
On the more ''recent'' I like Diablo II and WoW.

I severely hate ordinators, but try to resist the urge to kill them.
When only counting those that start out hostile, ofcourse those cliffracers, and also them pesky servants from Dagoth Ur.

I really like the versatility of the paladin, offensive/defensive, melee/magic and with the correct build you can even make him a proper archer. :)

Make sure you've done the quests from all questgivers, including (highlight to read): gentleman Jim Stacey, he can be found in Vivec.

If houses count, I prefer House Redoran, not so much the righteous aspect but the kickass stronghold. :D

Otherwise I like the fightersguild, you get to do both good and evil quests typically suited for a melee fighter. ;)

Usually fighter oriented, with magic for traveling/boosting/restoring.
I always try to complete as many quests for the good side as I can.
Unfortunately I can't resist turning evil once in a while.

Hmm, I've never really used Bow, Shortblade, spear or mysticism alot.
There aren't alot of really good shortblades and even fewer proper spears to make good use of those skills.
I use lot's of enchant because it's bothering me to use up my charges and have to wait long for them to recharge.

Oh but cliffracers can be evaded with levitation, just go fast enough. :p
Also it was difficult to win while being a werewolf the first few times, I got whooped by those silver weapons from the villagers when my character transformed in the center of town.

Yep, but it's not a unique one.
If you choose Redoran or Telvanni you can also become grandmaster in Hlaalu when you complete the main quest and talk to Vedam Dren, do a search on this forum for more information.

I've had the same "problem".
I was fully (really all parts) armored with ebony closed helm, and shield enchants on my clothing (also all pieces other than gloves/shoes which would replace armor), yet I frequently gained unarmored skill.
I assumed this was normal and that the designers of this game ...

QUOTE=Alien_Newborn: No he isn't, he just has really, really, really, REALLY high luck (like, for real). Just cast a bunch of drain/damage/absorb luck spells on him, and he's actually pretty easy.

Erm, I checked the editor for Geanor's stats and indeed he has high luck.
But he also has strong ...

Also make sure you don't do anything that might work against the thievesguild.
Spoiler: a certain fighters guild quest does this, but this has been covered extensively so if you want to know, do a search on it ;) .

Spoilers
Hmm, I had the most trouble with Dagoth Ur, but that was before I followed the main quest line and thus wasn't able to use Sunder and Keening safely + I didn't know that's what they were for. :(

The thoughest opponent I've had was Gaenor the Bosmer with ebony equipment in Mournhold, dude ...

I once made a whole necromancer army.
With several spells that allow you to summun undead creatures I build up a force of 16 creatures, used fortify atribute spells and watch those creatures become nearly unstoppable.
only problem was my framerate.

The one apparatus that is required is the mortar and pestle. This is the basic apparatus you need to combine two or more ingredients into a potion.
Retort:
The retort is optional and increases the magnitude and duration of all positive effects ...
