The manual says that "Intelligence is important for wizards..... Intelligence also grants additional skill points, making it useful for any character."
I'm guessing just the base intellect scores apply toward the extra skillpoints, and having items with +INT doesn't have any additional effect..?

For large, spread-out groups, try doing a controlled pull with a ranged character - use a nearby corner to stay out of line-of-sight, have the rest of the party "stand your ground" while your ranged goes nearer and shoots the closest mob then runs back around the corner. When the mobs get to the ...

stop summoning companions!
Anyone know if it's possible to get spellcasters (Sand, Qara, Elanee) to STOP summoning their animal companions? It bugs me, having to scroll through the group list because I have three extra animals hanging around.. and don't even get me started on the hassle of getting my fighters through doorways ...

mutliclass penalty and companions skills
I know a lot has been said about multiclassing, but I'm still not entirely clear on how/when the penalty is applied..
Say I'm a level 1 elven fighter (I know with a half-elf or human character, the first class doesn't count for multiclassing XP penalty... but I prefer elves) and I want ...

question about Bone Phoenix
I was just wondering.. Bone Phoenix does 1d8 dmg, plus 1d6 fire damage and +1 enhancement bonus. Also in the item's description, it says "50 charges" ... does that mean it only has 50 charges of fire damage and after that it's just the normal/enhanced stats?

Act 2 secondary quests
Can anyone tell me what the following quests are, and where/who do you get them from? I hate knowing I've missed something!
In secondary quest log:
page 2, first entry,
page 3, last entry,
page 4, last two entries.
I think I read somewhere that the last few entries are something with Amren ...

Weapon damage
Didn't the first Dungeon Seige (or the expansion) display weapon damage in "damage per 10 seconds"? If so, why did they drop that in this game? Seems to me that way of figuring damage would be infinitely more useful than just a straight range, given their love of differing weapon speeds... I mean ...

Items "acquired" or "discarded"
Does anyone know why some duplicate items are picked up, while others are not? I'm doing all these quests, and I noticed that while I can get a ton of some items, others are "discarded" after the first one is in inventory...?
