My monk, who can't wear armor, can use a stone, and my fighter/mage can wear one and still cast spells. So personally I love the stones... they could do more but it beats nothing at all.

So with a fighter/mage/thief or other triple combo can you have 3 strongholds?

I feel a new game coming on...

Since I can't kill him, but he's still an enemy (red circle and all) I can't pick his pockets either.

I kicked his ass, but can't kill him, and he doesn't get up (after 5 minutes or so real time). I ended up finishing the PlanSpher without talking to him, went back a few weeks later and he's still laying there. I can't kill him or talk to him, so I can't get his ring. Any ideas guys?

What I did was this...
have your best fighters standing outside the door with hammers or flails (Flail of ages, even just partially assembled is good for this) haste a "runner" to run in and grab from only one of the stashes along the back wall, the golems seem to be tied to specific stashes and ...
