Sounds Good
[QUOTE=thoon]Well, if you can hold out, there are several decent dungeons after that one, and hardly any more 'arcade' puzzles.
If you like, I can describe the method I used to get through this one.

Who designed this game
The frustration level with this game has peaked. I'm really trying to play the game straight up. The arcade aspect of this game SUX! You guys who have worked out this game have my respect.
I would have deleted this one a long time ago without the walkthrough. No rhyme or reason as to figuring out ...

Where did I mess up?
I'm doing the Kingston aera. Somehow got one glyph to light up but noe of the rest. I've done the water, chess, and followed hoim around to the top of the pedestal. Obvisously I've missed how to light up the other glyphs. What did I do wrong. Thanks.

Elder Demus.....
Ok, in ULM trying to take on the Elder Demus. What's it take to bring him down? I'm a 9 level Mage/sorcer hitting him with everything I got (which may not be enough) and he will not die. Heals himself at an incredidible rate. Definitly cuts me to ribbons when I go toe to toe and arros are usless ...

General Observations
A few general observations on the gams.
I installed the game, the 1.3 patch, and started playing this week.
1. The "m" for mapping does nothing.
2. Graphics and sounds are very well done.
3. A few items that were always wanted in RPG's and we finally got in other games are not here. Journaling ...

Where's the yellow brick road?
Looking for the route to Ulm fron Arindale. The map that came with the game does not seem to provide good enough directions for me.... Duh. Thanks

Understanding Magic?
Ok, trying to understand how the magic works in this game. Can anyone define for me what the blue bar does/gets longer? What is the controlling factor on how many times/charges a particular spell has? The book is woefully short on info. BTW, I just loaded up DL, applied patch 1.3 and the M for ...
