You only listed the good things about the combat. What is missing are the bad pieces.

I also define best as "do alot of damage in little time" and therefore found the skill tree of DS2 quite a challange. My melee fighters do most damage through their critical hits. I also favoured speed skills over damage skills over resistance skills when I had to decide between i.e. +1% speed, +1 ...
