1.4 german vs english

i already beat the game in german to english 1.4 and now they come out with pure english 1.4 at over twice the size, 103 mb - any compelling reason like new quests or beasties to upgrade again, and should i do a fresh install and upgrade from 1.3 to avoid conflicts??? TIA for any info guys :)

i ran my heavy weapons up to 10 on moonstone island so i could ascend to deathlord - does it actually DO anything to go beyond lvl 5 where advanced attacks occur???/ TIA for any help :cool: :D

chunnelers, greater demons, barrowgrim marauders and others are fairly immune to most magics, at least until you beef up channeling - have you been to the demigoth, or the forbidden lands below skuldoon - all creatures are significantly tougher to kill down there ;) not to mention ...

i have 1.4 as my last player who beat the game but have since started another game with a zaur - the problem lies in when i go to load character screen only the zaur, lvl 5, not the urgoth, lvl 36, is available, even when i moved the zaur's save game out of the save ...

i noticed that as time passes my character who is not a thief and has no identify skill per se is able to identify some things, but mostly not if it is 50% or less it is usually not - does intelligence influence this??? if not what does?

i use ward of fire and ice a lot and noticed that sometimes i am briefly frozen (mainly if there are 3 ghost haunts or succubi), or burnt by demons or a drake, mainly pushed back out of melee range with only slight damage to my health, a shield negates this entirely, but i cannot fight when i am ...
