I got the puzzle. My evasive action was succesfull. Thanks for your help. About the scrolls, yes I'm using it the rigth way. Simply when I cast the spell, the message "nothing" appears in the screen.

Yes, i 'm soloing. After finishing BG II twice, I want to try something different. It's really more easy finishing BG II with only one charater, at least with a monk.
