I've always wondered some of the name origins of a lot of the places in Morrowind, and one of them is "Tel" I learned today that Tel means hill in Hebrew, but this doesn't make sense because none of the Tel cities are on hills. The developers might have just thought Tel Aviv (in Israel) sounded cool ...

i figured it out. being an alchemist i was taking "restore" potions to fix the problem. i bought a restore spell instead and that worked. not sure why. maybe it was the manually made potions that weren't responding.

I feel embarrassed asking this because I have played through this game twice now. But on my third campaign, I'm lost. My Willpower is currently being drained and I don't know how. I don't have a "Drain Attribute" effect being displayed. I visited a temple and cured diseases, poisons, and blights ...

thanks for posting that video. i only beat the main quest once and had to delete my save in an attempt to debug my file (it didn't work). i forgot how the game ended, but now i can watch whenever i want! not really, but its still fun to reminisce.

for later endevours, it does display the day on the sleep/rest box

when you hit "select" to rest or sleep, it says the time, the month, and the date. it should also display the date and time on the journal menus (with the maps and quests)

i like it so far, but the monsters in the game are the most ANNOYING thing ever. there are guys stronger than ogres, and you can fight up to 3 sometimes. it really makes exploring dungeons a waste of time.

i think im confused. i just saw when you said oblivion was a generic fantasy and oblivion was more unique. i didnt realize you meant "unique fantasy".

thats what i needed to know. i know they were the same worlds but had different orientations (for lack of a better word). i just wanted to know if once you made the choice, the world permanently aligned with Dementia or Mania.

swins in swamps, i agree with a lot that you say. except one thing. how is morrowind fantastic (whats the adjective form of fantasy?) when you have the wizard cities built in mushrooms? i think oblivion is more realistic in terms of the cities, forts, and some other little aspects like apples ...

I think this games comes out fairly soon, but does anyone hear anything good about it? I'm a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series and although I don't think I will ever find an RPG better than Morrowind or Oblivion (my opinion), I would like to see what else is out there for Xbox 360.

better yet, anyone know the start date in Morrowind? I think Oblivion is like 3E 410 or something.

I just saw in the News section of Oblivion about the Iron Man contest. Who ever has the most gameplay time wins. I was just wondering if anyone here thinks he/she can compete. I only have 236 hours, so I doubt that stacks up to anyone else.

Does anyone recommend starting a new character for Shivering Isles? I can see the advantages of doing so since my current character is basically maxed out, but I can't convince myself to start a new character. any opinions/advice?

i think that the Flame atronach was the lowest creature I could CE summon. all the others couldn't fit on the Exquisite ring. I have recently heard that a daedric shield can fit more points on it, but I don't think a golden saint would even fit on that. maybe a daedric lord?

This might have been already asked, but I was just wondering how many total quests there are in the game, the plug-ins, and Shiv. Isles? i want to try and figure out a completion percentage based on my quests over all the total quests.

I started with Blade and maxed it out to 100. Then I picked up Blunt and maxed that to 100 as well. Both are very even. The daedric mace does the same damage as a daedric longsword. yes, i believe the Mace is heavier, but oh well.
