Are you using the steam version or a boxed copy? On the boxed version I patched fully then just added the tslrcm mod. I never used any of the community patches and had no issues.

Calo is a ranged fighter - but if I remember does use grenades. Are you a Jedi Sentinel, Guardian or Consular? If you are a Guardian or have Juhani - she can force jump to close the range down in an instant and keep him busy. If you are neutral, it would be best not to waste force energy using dark ...

Neverwinter Vault has so much content it can be rather intimidating. http://neverwinter2.nexusmods.com//? Is a good alternative especially for NWN2. It hosts the NWN remake mods for Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale.

Risen

Risen by Piranha Bytes is the first of the games I have played from the studio more famous for the Gothic games.

The start of the game is rather cliched with the nameless protagonist washing up on the shore of the mysterious island of Faranga. The initial hours of the game are mostly about ...

I wouldn't expect it to cause any issues, but you might want to take a quick look at the KOTORII forum on Steam and see if others have had issues. There are some Win Vista/7 issues with running KOTORII, but there are extensive workarounds online for this.

If you are really really sold on the wazikashi/katana model, you should consider looking around for an override version of the sword. Most of CEP content is a combination of the work of various modders, so the model you want may be relatively easy to find. I believe older versions of PRC were ...

The key to getting it to work are the .tlk file and the 2da files. If you are running any modules that have their own custom .tlk file and 2da, then the files need to be merged. There are tools for doing this at the NWN-Vault, as you can only run one custom .tlk and 2da per game.

So in order to ...

That tactic might work well in the Pitt. I recall at the end being attacked by just about everything that moved and relying on VATS to save ammo - as I recall some enemes use grenades, rockets etc. so you do have to be very careful.

To be honest... I don't think that the DLC for Fallout 3 brings ...

Some of Anchorage can be done with a decent stealth based approach. If you are tech minded or melee, the Pitt will be tough - you really need good preparation. MSZ might be the best place to start. I tend to play a high sneak sniper type and The Pitt - was really tough for me on normal difficulty ...

If you go wasteland exploring before really going into DC, then just stumbling into Mothership Zeta and the Pitt can be quite difficult - definately best to leave them until later. I stopped playing Fallout 3 during Point Lookout, I was about 28 hours into the game and just got really bored.

????

Once you defeat Darth Traya that is the end of the game - it is rather anti-climactic.

I have the CD version - once you install the game you only need the first disc (play disc) to run the game - or no disc if you use a no-cd patch.

If you felt the experience was somewhat lacking, I ...

Played as an alteration heavy mage on my last play of Skyrim and I have to say that I never really noticed great improvements with the strength or duration. I will say that if you are not using the Midas Magic Mod, then you are missing out on some amazing Alteration spells.

It is better to have a higher influence with Qara for the final battle... because Sand is a Wizard, you can empty his prepared spells before the battle for an easier take-down.

Depends on play style - but if you only plan to play it once, then the most important stat is Wisdom. The nameless ones class can be changed throughout the game - but I enjoyed playing as a magic user most.

It is also important that you have enough Magika to cast the spell. The ones you get at the start of the game are low magika and can be sustained by holding down the corresponding mouse button.

Well the scoundrel is the hardest class to stay at a low level with. You will probably find the Arena on Taris very difficult against Twitch and Bendak, it might also be a good idea to use range more as a rogue - as light armor does not have the best resistance to vibroblades. Make sure you have ...
