A good question Avg :) I'd answer it with one of my own: how many Blades are planning on playing in Argyle? And of those, how many were planning on starting their characters in or around Soberdan? It's more than possible that if there was, say, 3 Blades who were going to start in Soberdan that we ...

Lorebook info

Here's an idea for you Mr Average ;) Since our Lorebook won't be out for a while, and for NWN we're developing the Soberdan/Niire region first, why don't you think a bit on where you'd like to run a campaign and I can funnel you some Lorebook info (in draft form) for you to use ...

I don't see any responses yet to this great idea :) I myself run a Play By Email (PBEM) campaign set in Argyle, and it's been great as a way to establish a feel for the land, immerse players in the culture that would theoretically be found and, from a DM viewpoint, it's a great way to learn the 3E ...

Bad review?

I thought that was kind of funny :) It's good to be able to step back from something and laugh at it. At least, that's what my therapist tells me :) I'm pretty sure the guy was just trolling for a flame war with it, and some of the reactions show he was successful.

"But what do YOU ...

Argyle Information

Hi there Banshee members :) I hope some of you have the game now and are enjoying it!

Regarding information about Argyle, most of what's on the site is roleplaying and background information. There is some hard information such as racial modifiers in the Ruminations board, and ...

I'll just add in that Argyle is not currently a pay-to-play world, and it never will be. Everything we use for the world - servers, network, time - is already owned by us, or will be purchased by us, and we are in no way looking to have the players pay for even a penny of it.

That way, if it goes ...

You buy the game off the shelf, and then play until you're sick of it :) There is no monthly fee, and it will be very difficult for sites to charge a fee to play on their servers. Illegal, in fact.

I don't see why you would have a beef with Guild Sin at all - they are a group that will likely be working the Extortion trade, and other such shady dealings. I'm under the impression that BotB is more like an adventuring company, and I don't know why Guild Sin and BotB would have reason to clash ...

Greetings Blades! :)

Bioware is still playing with the ideas around tattoos and crests, so it may be possible once the BotB are established to have your guild logo brought into the game as a shield crest/tattoo or something similar....as for custom player models, Argyle won't support anything ...

You won't be so happy that I'm active and participating when your parties get their collective butts kicked by my modules!

er, damn, thinking out loud again...that's what happens when your brain is the size of a walnut.

As in previous notes, folks, post on our board, email me, whatever you ...

In 3E you can start as mulitclassed; it's an option in the DMG. This won't appear in NWN though, so it's moot. :)

Since Argyle is not a FR setting, you won't be seeing the tired old corpses of Elminster or Drizzt walking around...but you also won't want to run into Ptarsis, or Emeloth. Or, if you ...

The correct way to think of the number of players in your party is that you can play one player, but have several henchmen, in single player. In multiplayer you can still only play one character, but can also have henchmen as well as team up with other online players, the limit of which really ...

Hello folks, I thought I'd drop by and see how it's going :) Actually, I followed a link from my stats reports for Argyle and it took me here...

So let me introduce myself to those of you who don't go to the Argyle boards yet - I am known as Rhino, and am the Lead DM for Argyle. I've talked alot ...
