This time I am trying to beat the game and 'check' the game off of my list of games that I have played but not beaten. Usually I have a hard time beating games aside from ARPGs. Anyhow, thanks for commenting. I will keep in mind what arrows to load my archer crewmen/women up with to beat the herald ...

It looks like at *least* a new video card upgrade will be required..
But really great looking visuals IMO.

I thought Quarrel, but I don't know if his invocations are any good or how to play a warlock though I found a nice guide.
Quarrel is a good option with Kaedrins installed and the right feats + the right invocations.

scottg, it isn't the highest member of the party for the overland map grinding.. I leveled my map archer to max and used the lower party members squatting and I got much more for the overland map grinding.
I also tested difficulty settings and it does not matter what difficulty setting you use ...

I've always thought you could only go 1-4 PCs and 1-2 NPCs
Yes, that's correct.
What I was trying to comment on was using ONLY NPCs (with the exception of 1 PC), under the method mentioned here:

Scottg, what is MKD? Mordenkainen's Disjunction? I'll have to use a rogue/scroll because my sorcerer doesn't have it! (only 16th level)
Yes. I'm not sure you'll have access to it though, IF you do then it will be from the Red Wizard Enclave in Neverwinter after doing most of their quests ...

Maybe @scottg can help?
Is there still a trade bar bug where you get so many bars that it wraps around to zero? Did they fix that in a patch?
No. (from what I remember.)
IF it stops (..and I think I might have done this once), it does the "99999999999" thing, and you can always convert ...

We need @scottg :)
:)
I've never used any of the in-game characters for anything more than crafting. They are just "card-board" to me.
On the other hand as I mentioned in the XP post, there are advantages to using them and not having a party chock-full of your own characters.
About ...

Yup.
If the challenging rating is higher for the enemy than your party (..which I believe is referenced by your highest level character which includes level penalties and XP class penalties), then you get more points.
Level-squatting is very useful in SOZ, and particularly so because the XP isn ...

Uuuuuh ...
Just for the record, at least in the D&D P&P rules, a level 40 boss is supposed to slaughter any level 20 party easily, unless we talk about hundreds of level 20 characters.
IIRC the D&D3 handbooks say something along the lines "if your 4 people player party manages to kill a mob 7 ...

To be honest, I think they screwed up big time with NWN2. It's a shame
Think about it, have you ever seen someone sleep in the city? Yes, so why would it be something that you couldn't do in this game? That does NOT make any sense. Also, they took out the option to kill anyone you want (which ...

I own the nwn2 complete version from gog and found that the camera rotation speed is very very slow. I even tried increasing all scroll speeds to max and it's still very slow. Like unplayably slow. I heard of the camera actually being too sensitive for some folks but I have the opposite problem ...

I started playing SoZ, and then I got annoyed by something (really badly). In every single expansion before this (including the NWN OC itself of course), you could rest anywhere you wanted. Now, it ALWAYS says "no resting allowed in this area". Who's the dumbass who thought changing the rules what ...

I've not seen this occur.
It could be that the particular weapon is bugged.
I would question though that it did actually occur (..i.e. loss of experience points as a result of bleeding wound death). Often enough enemies in this game are so low in level that you don't get experience for ...

I believe it happens within the game itself.
Ex. there are 2 "vendors" and an enchanter in the "campsite" portion of the game. The campsite portion isn't available until after you are through with "Lothering" (..I ...

I've never heard of anyone playing it like that - so there really isn't a valid comparison. Perhaps there is some weird bug to the level-cap when played like that.
