few ways i have found out.
1) when u see message `insect plague cast at XXX` (usually a mage type) just send that player far away and lead insects away . then u can micromanage and run around with insects following while other npcs continue the fight. this way even if u accidentally let the insects ...

my first game with good pc and all the `good ` responses ` no change beore i finished tob.

and i hear that viconia changes too? when does she do this?

greater restore heals everyone! useful but easy to abuse

most dragons kill u either with magic breath or melee with haste on.
think draconis is acid breath (correct me if wrong) so shadow armor should help (50% resistance).
but main trick for me is to slow them down or he rips u to shreds. so i always use flail of ages to slow em down and u are almost ...

u dont get access to project image and wish till much later. u must have meleed alot earlier on?
and how do u consistently get the `rest` option with wish? tried wisdom potions but dont seem to work

not sure what happened but fighting improved demogorgon(hah killed sucka on first attempt with one npc death only)and my project image edwin cast chain contingency but all he got was access to cleric spells only , so what the heck he put in 3 bolt of glorys.
then saw screen say` viconia cast bolt ...

after reading that with dual-wield you only get one attack per round with off-hand weapon and all the other attacks are on the main-hand , i have decided not to put the 3rd star into dual-wield but leave it at 2 stars with off-hand -4 thaco penalty.

-10AC with some spiffy weapons.
hardly used them as quite powerful by that stage.
found the size of the armor too large and cumbersome at narrow confines to use but cool against dragons.

because priests and mages high level abilities are spells in the spell book which u need to memorize, yeah that sucks.

well am on 3rd game of soa/tob now and cant seem to motivate myself to play much.
had a great time with my evil fighter/thief and party and spent almost every non-working waking hour playing it last 3 weeks.
playing a sorceror now with neglected npc`s like keldorn and anomen and ...

same thing happened to my game.
if u didnt get the scene saying that saradush had been taken by yaga`s army then somehow the scripts have gotten mixed up.

that happened to me after i had gone to saradush to sell stuff after beating up yaga`s mommy.no matter what i did after that i couldnt get that ...
