When I tried to pick the lock it said it was impossible. It then succeeded when I used thieves tools +3. Try using the highest level thieves tools you can get hold of.

That's why I said 'most.' There are loads of great, intelligent and wise Americans.

It looks like Bush is going to get the popular vote this time. I can't think of a good reason to vote for that cretin which makes most Americans stupid an ignorant. I know, I know, personal opinion but Republicans ...

I'm a European so I won't be watching the debates live as your politics aren't anything I can do about. But, every now and again I tune into Fox News or CNN to sample the mentality that's wreaking this storm of mass destruction around the world at the moment.

These stations go way beyond anything I ...

Is there a football thread yet?

I just noticed a thread called, 'Is there a football thread yet?'

I read it and wondered well, is there a football thread yet? You know about the game where the point is to be the best team at kicking the ball with your feet!

The English teams have got off to a good start in the Champions League ...

The pursuit for knowledge is going to happen for ever. It's not in our nature to sit on our back sides and do nothing (unless the Olympics starts showing much more beach volleyball).

What you choose to try and learn is up to you. You answer only to yourself and there certainly are some arse holes ...

What Could 3D Bring to Baldur's Gate

There's an awful lot of discussion as to whether BG3 should be in 3D or not on this forum. Everyone has their own opinion. So let's avoid the pros/cons of that in this thread.

Assuming the game happens and if it did go fully 3D what do you think it could bring to the series?

I'll start us off with ...

Well Dungeon Siege provided settings beautiful enough for me. The Dragon Age screen shots look great. Dark Alliance was gorgeous so long as we're just talking presentation here.

The standard was text based. Then when a great developer came along and did a great job with a 2D graphics engine you ...

Come Off It

This is rediculous.

TOEE wasn't a bad game because of the graphics. The graphics and combat system were the best parts of it. It was the story telling and simple things like missing item descriptions that were appalling making for an extremely shoddy experience overall. I for one ...

Ease of Use, Tactics, Item Upgrades, Unfinished Business, Ascension and Redemption.

I've a nagging feeling that this happened with one of the NPCs last time I played BG2 ages ago though. With no mods.

Porblem with Ranged Attacks

Problem with Ranged Attacks

hello,

Can anyone help me out with a problem.

My protagonist has started moving to melee range with an oponent to make ranged attacks. Not only does this put him exactly where I don't want him in every battle (he's an archer) and give his oponent +4 to hit but also ...

Hello everyone,

I don't come onto these forums very often. I'm more of a reader than a writer. I had to reply to this thread though. Fable has completely missed the point.

Odd indeed. The London shops are usually up to date.

Where did you get your copy from. I may as well get hold of one online myself.

Thanks for your help.
