@CE: I see you remember my fanatism about the world cup :D
I hope I matured a bit since then, but it sure has been funny this time, going crazy with friends and family members of ALL ages and genders :D

@dragon wench: yes, everything adequately fine, I'd say, thank you!
I hope I'll be able to ...

This "living in the future" that you describe, is an efficient method to not being very happy and to experience stress and dissatisfaction. Learning to live in the moment, and being "mindful" is a key to cease living mostly for the things that will happen in the future. "Mindfulness" is a vague ...

The RtW team needs help

We're in need for a few coders to help us out.
There are a lot IE gurus out there, so who knows, someone might be interested.
I sincerely hope so, as I'd really desire to save this mod.

Latest screenshots and goodies can be found here (and more details about what we need after the images).

That mostly depends on what mods you have installed.
Tanova didn't have endless truesight, and I did kill it that way, one might just try and see it's possible :)

Yep, now that I think of it, I remember I waited for the spell to end, as Luis Antonio says.
A bit on the cheesy side, but hey, I had just a lousy low level mage, and I had cleared the whole dungeon already. ;)

Anyway, you can also overcome True Sight casting Spell Immunity: Divination.

About the ...

Once I killed Tanova with a solo 6th level mage (was in truth a dualclass with the first class still inactive).

Cast invisibility, placed the character carefully on the side of Tanova, perfectly facing the opposite side wall.
Cast a straight lightning bolt (becoming visible in that moment), a few ...

I'm trying to think about a possible reason but I can't find any.
While uninstalling a mod half-way through a game is always risky, this specific problem definitely cannot be a regular issue with Refinements, since we don't touch usability flags for sorcerers in any way, and it never happened to us ...

Just a quick update: version 2.01 has been released (check our site for the download location). Some important fixes included. :)

Actually, there's still a blatant install-time conflict with TDD: in case you need it you may refer to our forums for a solution coded up by the_bigg. We're not going ...

Refinements V2 released!

It took far longer than we thought, it adds less things than we hoped (no new components for now), yet, after more than a year since the first release, we can claim to be totally happy of the results :)

A new team member, many, many fixes, adjustments, feedback-driven revisions, lots of new ...

@fable:
you seem to be right, it goes unusually slow...
Tried three times: once it loaded, once it didn't, once it did much too slow
If it persists I'll contact our (kind) host (Seifer), but I'd give him some more chances before bothering him. Can you give it a few more tries, if you're ...

[QUOTE=Qwinn]
Refinements: Eh. I know a lot of people consider this one a must have, but from the readme, several of the HLA's seem both overpowered and not well balanced to me. In particular, I can't see why anyone would -ever- want to play the Undead Hunter paladin kit with it, as all paladins get ...

Just a note: I can't say anything about compatibility between Refinements and TDD. Of the non -WeiDU mods, the only one I'm reasonably sure about is Tortured Souls (I have it, and it has been installed for the whole development...).

And after all, working on compatibility with TDD (which, as I am ...

Sorcs do have a CHA requirement at game creation, though it was, uh, conceiled...So we also alter the class description, considering INT and CHA primary requisite for Sorcs.
Anyway it's true, the engine doesn't make stat distinctions for assigning spells or whatever. Inner Focus is basically a ...

Refinements, Version 1, released!

At last, after incredible efforts, technical discoveries, forum debates, flamings, encouragements, "conversions", delays, delays, and yet more delays, Version 1 is finally ready!!

The best comments about the mod came from our beta testers, so I will say nothing more.
Everything can be found ...

ehm, funny to see this thread resurrected just now :p , a better version is going to be released soon, as a minor component of Refinements (so it also benefits from having a proper WeiDU-installer...)

This time we're ready for REAL (99,99999% of the mod, Version 1, is completed).

(Well, I think the results were worth it BTW).
So, if someone is available and willing te ...
