I've searched and have not found this ever mentioned. Why is there such a huge XP gap between a Druid's 14th level at 1,500,000 XP and level 15 at 3,000,000? Druids normally go up a level each 150,000 xp at this level, but it seems like Jaheira misses about 10 levels by not going to level 15 and ...

Is there any way to counter or remove an insect plague once it is cast on your party? It kinda tough since you have 100% spell failure while the bugs are biting you. :-(

And where are those listed? They are not in the manuals for SoA or ToB. A thief can use a quarterstaff but can he backstab with it?

Valygar comes with Katanas and skills in it, but can he backstab with them?

I'd certainly patch ToB with the *498 patch. If you run into the problems the *499 patch was designed for, install that one too (*499 doesn't change any ingame patches, iirc). Next, proceed with the ToB Fixpack, available at Baldurdash.

I've just done the end of ch 4, and found 2 ways to exit and get to ch 5. You can find the key and take the portal directly to Underdark or take Capt Saemon up on his offer of a ship and get to do Sahaugin.

I spent a little time trying it both ways, just out of curiosity ...
