Thanks for the help guys. I've pretty much given up with it this time around, but I've got a couple other files running so I'll keep the tips in mind for when I get around to the mission again.

Ugh, I dunno what happened; I did the quest, set up the cameras and ran the cam check as I was meant to, and everything was going fine.
I go back to see Imalia and despite there being a newspaper on the table saying that Tawni was caught on camera, and despite the fact that I can't have been seen ...

So, I just finished Elizabethan Rendezvous, I'm a toreador, completed all the objectives, and didn't kill anyone, but I haven't been given a new haven by LaCroix.

I did get noticed right before I left (took too long, apparently), but like I said, didn't kill anyone. Could that be it?

Also I can't ...

Thanks, but I got it working now. For some reason I can close it with ~, but I have to open it with a different key altogether (which can also close it).

Someone may as well lock this, since the problem's solved.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that doesn't seem to work either.
It closes the console fine, but I can't get it to come back up again.

I'll try patching and then I'll try again, I guess.

Edit- the official patch didn't change a thing ]:

So, being the filthy cheat that I am, I want to use the console and put some cheats on.

I put "C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" - console into the 'run' dialogue, the game starts up with the console there.
