How do you get this ring? Can you obtain it if you're main character isn't a mage?

I've had Viconia in my group for sometime, though haven't been able to get any romance started with her. I'm unsure if this matters but my character is an elf chaotic good assassin.

Often times when there's a lot of things happening on the screen while I'm playing my game, everything becomes choppy. My computer is a 1000MGz, 128RAM, and Radion graphics card. Although, I'm using Windows Me so perhaps that's the problem. Supposedly I have 94% free RAM before starting the game and ...

Thanks...I got it to work last night. I used TCP/IP to get it going. Then I copied that folder from the mulitplayer into single player. And now, that's where I go to play the game. Thanks again!

I clicked protocol then "mplayer." I never got to name it though. I'm unsure. What do I do then? I didn't get some setup showing up to 6 characters that I could create though. Are instructions for this completely listed somewhere for I can't find anything about this in my manual.

For me, I can either select "single" or "multiplayer." When I select multiplayer I don't have any option saying "new game." I have something called "pre-generate character," but that's it. And then once that's done I either click on import or export.

I'm confused still. After I create the first do I then import or export? And how do I get both on the same file? I'm totally confused was to what to do. Thanks.

I just bought BG2, and want to create 2 characters and then pick up 4 NPC's. Can anyone please tell me how to play a game whereby I make 2 characters and use them both? Thanks a ton!!
