Dialog is initiated but then he attacks. My Paladin is the one conversing with him. He has a Charisma of 18 and 7 or 8 Diplomacy points.

Why is Yqoug attacking me? The first time I played the game, the Bargest Whelp gave me a quest.

Can a henchman (bard) use their skills to identify a magic item for you?

If they can, then what is the procedure?

Which is better? The PoR Editor or BlackAdder. I cannot locate either one.

Thanks, but I found the patch. What I meant was that when trying to apply the patch, I was getting the error message. Anyhoo, I spent the morning uninstalling, deleting registry entries and reinstalling ToB :(

including the patch :D ... I am at Watcher's Keep playing with the Chromatic Dragon :eek:

Is anybody else having a problem with it? I am getting the following error message:

The system cannot find the specific file.

Use the Ring of Influence to charm him.
