AFAIK, the normal traps do not improve in SoA, regardless of Set Trap ability. Special Snares, of a Bounty Hunter, improve with level I think.

Ok, IIRC, you must open the doors that connect the air lab and the poison lab, and the poison lab and ice lab. Then turn on to the fan full power, blowing the poison gas into the Ice lab. (Although, you might be somewhere different, I'm not too sure).

You can, but I'm pretty sure that it would muck up the game by not activating some triggers, so progresion might be strange/impossible, but I've never tried it, so I don't know.

IIRC, there is also a guy in Larswood that you can talk to and get him to take you to the bandit camp. Otherwise you're stuck. (This is from memory - last time I played was a year ago, so it may be wrong).

Ok, I did this a long time ago, but IIRC the door is locked, so there is either a key on the body of a guard, or you need a thief/mage type to unlock it. If you've done this, then I'm not sure.

Then only thing that affects the number/type of enemies is your level. Party size does not directly affect this (Although you will level up quicker with less people, so you will face harder enemies sooner).

Another good way to deal lots of damage to him is to put three Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilrngs into a Chain Contingency.

If you solve that quest by merely slaughtering them all, instead of by getting the two pieces of the rod, you will not be able to go to any of the other areas associated with the Unseeing Eye Quest, i.e. the Undead Town, the Beholder layer there, or to the temple of Amauntor.

I don't think so - In BG2 they use some unique features such as some of the weapon proficiences etc. which would make the BG2 character invalid for IWD.

If this is where I think it is (Basement of the large hall in Ulgoth's Beard), then there is nothing to do here until you return after completing Durlag's Tower.

1) Boots of Phasing don't exist in game.

2) **Chapter 6/Romace Spoiler**

In chapter 6 when you go to face Bodhi again, she will turn the person you are romacing into a vampire, and you are forced to kill him/her. After you have done so, the only way to cure them and have them back in your party is ...

I'm pretty sure that you can get a Freedom scroll from the Adventurer's Mart in chapter 6 if you ask to see his special stock. I don't think you're gonna find somewhere that will sell you level 9 scrolls pre-chapter 5 tho.
