If you are getting your "butt kicked" Viagra, then go to Options first and set the combat to be Turn Based. That will let you to have it a bit easier, as you can plan your next move ahead. Also check the levels of the NPC's compared to yours - going at lvl 1 against 4 lvl 3 ailing wolves aint a good ...

The best way to start fights - it's usually when YOU start it and get the first hit in. It isn't actually that hard to do at all. Simply go to options and turn on the "Pause when Enemy Sighted" or something like this.. With this thingie on, the game will pause AS SOON as there is ANY emeny in line ...

The vendor - Deidre - in AM sells Robe of Vecna, which is indeed a very good caster robe, best in game. However, she does NOT sell Cloak of Balduran. She has Shield of Balduran, Plate of Balduran and Sword of Balduran, only. In the game is also the Helm of Balduran, at the beginnig in Jon's dungeon ...

I remember the Deirex case too heh.. Sipped the Oil of Speed, put on Boots of Speed, entered the Deirex's house. Hit 'Pause' as soon as I was in and attacked Deirex (he was blue still). As soon as I unpaused the main char took off towards the Deirex and then the Deirex started to talk, after what I ...

Have you tried the Creature Browser of Shadow Keeper? That should give you some information on the Slayer. Haven't checked the stats myself, I always find that my char is better then the Slayer and so I don't use that form at all :)

Don't know about the details, but I don't think that the Slayer ...

You CAN return to Underdark, just not to Ust Natha I think. Haven't tried it myself, not to mention that I always, before leaving the drow city, destroy it heheh.. No point to return in there anyway lateron as such. But the Underdark you can access, simply go back to the place where you emerged from ...

Just to add some words of warning perhaps to the 'receivers' or 'creators' of the items: first, many of these effects can be realized as spells on the items, having limited amount of charges per day. Easy to do. But, you all know the Cowled Wizards in BG2. So when your "Lord of the Rings" party is ...

Yes DoPpLeHaNgEr, you're right on one thing and wrong on another: you are drunk and 'Viconia' is not a roman god :D

As to from where the name comes, then heck knows really. Not sure how much Bioware did research the "lore and legends" before creating BG. Probably to some extent they did, as it ...

Definately a bug. While the GW's do regenerate nicely, they should not renegerate THAT fast and that much. I personally have patched BG2 and also have the Baldurash's fixpack applied, so I guess this might have been fixed in one of those packs, as I never had such issue. GW's fall just like any ...

Did you fight Shadow Dragon? If yes, then I don't get it how can the Shade Lord be of any problem at all :D He's always a pushover, I usually set 1 tank - my main char usually - on him and the rest of the party whacks the shadows, Patrick and the Altar and done. He's "sturdier" then the rest of ...

What lvl were the members of your party? usually, by the time I got down there and met Irenicus for the last time, the fight wasn't hard anymore at all. Levels were maxed by that time (without the XP cap remover), with the remover the levels were from 20-28. Main char alone tanked most of the demons ...

Nothing 100% sure about BG3, though rumors as always tend to fly around. If there will be BG3 - what I would really love also - then it wont be about the Bhaalspawn of course. Which is OK with me too, as long as the new story would be good and all that :D

From engine, then something new wouldn't ...

Well, some would consider it even a bonus, knowing Jan's "chattyness" heheh.. But no, don't know why. Still waiting for my ToB to arrive, but this does sound like a bug. Maybe Baldurash has a fix for it, or maybe the official patch. Suppose you could also edit the char in Shadow Keeper, but only if ...

First of all, NOTHING is stolen in Ust Natha or anywhere throughout the whole game. The actual problem is that there are some monsters, summoned ones, which were supposed only to drain magic items from their charges (if they had such) and also memorized spells from mage classes - these are Nishruus ...

He cannot import the char with the pantaloons if he even doesn't have such char. To have such a "char" he should have played through BG1.

Only way to do it now is either by using CLUAConsole command, or Shadow Keeper. Don't remember the item code though, it's some MISC-something.

Firkraag is a big lout and it's easy to "lose" loot under him. Let's just hope that you have the savegame left before you stomped him, and then simply go to Kraggie room, rest and check again - after 8 hours the body should be gone and the loot should be more easily visible. If still not, stomp him ...
