I could swear that a high wisdom score gave a bonus to saving throws for all classes.

Don't forget about Roger the Fence in the sewers under the Temple District. He has some of the best potions in the game. In general, all of the fences have some good items but usually they are only found at night (except Roger, who is always there).

It's probably still incompatible with Improved Small Teeth Pass from the Tactics mod.

I'm partial to short swords myself. You can get the SS of Backstabbing +3 pretty early in the game. That's more than you can say for most weapon types.

Becoming High King would make for an interesting mod. A non-Nord would have to be a legendary hero beloved by all in order to gain that title though.

If you can't see that Edwin is absurdly powerful, then you're doing it wrong. He gets enough lvl 7 slots to cast Projected Image what, 5-6 times? That's enough Dragon's Breath, Greater Malisons, Remove Magics, Breaches, and Horrid Wiltings to drop ANYTHING in the game multiple times over.

Familiar with The Ritual quest from the Tactics mod? I once cleared the entire area using Edwin almost exclusively. You can't tell me he isn't one of the most powerful NPCs in the whole series.

I wouldn't say Kensai is "hit and run." You just need to send in the party's tank to draw aggro, then send the Kensai in to deal the damage.

From a RP perspective, play through the main quest to establish that you are Dragonborn. After a while people seem to know who you are and that should allow you freedom to access most cities.
