Help with Ranged Weapon Build
The reason I wanted to use blasters in Kotor was a faq on gamefaqs where a guy made a scoundrel like Han Solo and took on malek in endgame with little problems whatsoever. He invested in dexterity and force speed during fight making him get extra attacks. From there whenever he faced jedi, he would ...

Is it possible to defeat the Sheriff without Guns?
Im going to play this game and have gotten to chapter 3 in the past. I now decide I want to complete it with a melee only character. I don't like ranged weapons in 3rd person/1st person games. Is it at all possible to defeat the sheriff in melee without him using cheap tactics on you with the bat ...

To BuckGB-Geneforge Gamebanshee Database
I want to talk about Geneforge series 1-5 which is one of the most epic rpg series Ive seen. I just finished Geneforge 1 this time with a solo guardian and it was one of the most original rpgs Ive played through. Its very much like Baldurs Gate except its full turnbased. Other than that, its got the ...

Fallout 1-Throwing Build
I was thinking of making a throwing build where i major in grenades for large groups, and throwing knives for single opponents. Ive heard that grenades can do alot of damage to opponents on a critical hit. Add that with better criticals and watch out.
My question is besides other skills, which ...

Having Trouble Soloing, Need Advice
Im making a ranger17/rogue3 like the guide stated on gamefaqs. Im currently at Ranger2/Rogue1 and i am just starting the prison part of act1. I need some advice as i am dying a bit and need to know when this build will get better. I dont like using henchman and want to keep it solo. Does anyone have ...

Multiclass help-Expert Advice Needed
Hi, i am playing with a party of me a bard/rogue, a half orc barbarian, and a cleric. I am thinking of getting one more character- an npc that i might be able to romance. I am male. Im not very far into the game and my character-bard/rogue is not very good. I figured that mixing those 2 classes ...

2nd Attempt to Play Game
I tried playing this game a while back but the game runs slow on all computers. The game really looks fun but i dont have a chance when the speed is this bad. I wasnt going to play it again, but i read that you can lower everything in the graphics options to make it run semi normal. I tried this but ...

How is the progress with the project?
I figured i'd ask just to make sure you have some support. The one and only thing to realize with this game is will it be 3rd edition rules (icewind dale2), or 2nd edition like the originals. 3rd edition will be harder to make but better overall (imho), if its ...

Idea for a Character-Need Some Advice
Im making a 4 man party that will be very unique to say the least. The party will be somewhat nefarious and sneaky, thus the characters reflect that. I want a cleric of mask who will be mostly a summoner and healer. Summoning i have already used before to great lengths (summon undead!). Then ...

Problem with Performance
Hi, I havent played this game in like a year. I installed the game yet again and this time it is going a little slow and the performance is choppy. I've been going at trying to beat this game since i played it the first time some 6 years ago. I would play the game, get really into it, and then for ...

Thanks for the sound advice.
I do use sneak attacks a lot and my rogue is going for the weapon focus from fighter lvl 4. I havent gotten there yet, but i will. Im trying to make a rogue that can sneak attack and still fight a little in case one of my other fighters gets cut off by stun, web, etc ...

Crippling Strike, worth it?
Hi, I am just wondering if crippling strike is a useful ability for a rogue. I read somewhere that for each backstab (sneak attack) level you get -1 strength to your enemy. Is that true? Or is it just a 1 strength deduction. If that is the case, then that sucks.
And is it always on, or do you have ...

Rpgguy, I think that you got a much better shot at making the game than any of the other people.
Atari (destroyer of games) would only cripple the bg series. They haven't made one good game to this day. The only reason demonstone was alright was because R.A. Salvatore wrote the story.
