can someone please fill me in on where i find the magic tomes that increase stats?

minsc is a ranger with only 6 wisdom? the lowest it can be is 14. in fact it his lowest ability score as well. how is minsc legal?

his stats are:
str 18/93
dex 15
con 15
int 8
wis 6
cha 9

sure you can say that minsc got a bump on the head and his wisdom has dropped because of it but that would ...

1) what is the benefit of going beyond mastery level for using a weapon? to me it's not worth it. so you get a +1 more to damage at grand mastery level and a -1 speed factor. not worth it really IMO.

2)each specialization and mastery level all say they give an additional 1/2 attack every round. do ...

does anyone know the stats for the slayer? i know your strength and dex both go to 25 and your con goes to 18. your ac drops to an awesome -12. it also sets your HP to 100 and you get 4 attacks. what other effects are there? what is the damage you do with your claws? any other info will be greatly ...

thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. i got worried because Cythandra wasn't in the iron throne. (i must have already dealt with her). but i had the papers i needed and followed that "lead". got to where i needed to be.

how do you "dispel" the paws?

if i turn into a werewolf or greater werewolf are my hands/paws considered magic with regard to hitting creatures affected only by magical weapons or would i be a useless wolf in that aspect?

are the familiars that can pickpocket the only ones that can carry stuff? i am assuming yes but want to make sure. might just get me a ferret :mischief:

sorry if this has been answered. i looked around and havn't seen an answer to my questions so i ask them now:

1) is a familiar worth summoning? what does it do? is it useful besides extra HP?

2) how do i know which familiar does what? meaning how do i find out what the abilities of each familiar ...

ok i went and talked to tamoko . she told me about slythe and kristen . i have already killed them so i didn't need to go do that. i went back to the flaming fist compound to help the poisoned duke. he had me take him to the harbor master . i dropped off the duke but now where do i go. if i do too ...

ok figured out what to do/where to go. now i need help finding the Thieves' Warrens. i've looked everywhere. i would have thought they were connected to the sewers somehow but no luck in finding them. can anyone help me please? the walkthrough doesn't say where it is located.

i'm stuck somewhere in BG. right in front of the flaming fist's door actually. the guy there just told me to go find the iron throne place. i've looked through the walkthrough but don't see what i'm looking for. any heap would be great. i'm probably just overlooking something right?

i checked the npc section and it says he has a shop north of the feldpost inn. where is the shop? i have looked all around and can't find it

i've double and triple checked. i have the music low and the rest high

oh yea. i have the environmental souds turned down as well. damn crickets ;p
