Cool, another range team

Having finished elite with a non-tactical tanks 'n' healers group I'm trying an all range team on Mercenary...so it's nice to see someone else doing the same thing. :)

Whether it matters, my plan is to get a Naid and possibly a Mythrilhorn for my 5 and 6 characters.

I always disliked having to micromanage anything which may explain my low effort party:

3 Half-Giant melee
Taar
a Light Naid
and a pet of some kind I keep changing.

I just stick with Earthen Embrace and Wrath of Ice, all through the game to level 88 party, why bother thinking :laugh:

Now I've finished the game on Elite I have a checklist of things do before I see what BW is like,and one of them is to get the full "Jewels Of The Nexus" set for my tank main.

I have the jewels of death,ice and lightning,as well as the nexus prism,(2 of them actually)but I can't find the jewel of ...

It might be worth mentioning I have a level 86 party,and said mage is Finala,newly recruited and now level 74.

My current mage weapon is the unique cestus "Apocalypse" which the character is built around,so the enchantable mage weapon idea might not work... :o

I noticed that a good percentage of mana steal is better than a great number of max mana,so I was wondering,how do I get it as a combat mage? I've been having little luck.

I can't join any multiplayer games either,looks like it's an SP game.

I'm planning on recruiting Finala after I finish elite mode to just have solo super mage mercenary fun,but would there be any problems?

(ok aside from missing out on the "part members have been awarded X skill points each)

(and the fact i'd be unkillable on merc...well,you know any less obvious ...

Take your best gear,then change to you "cool" stuff for just having fun.

(Or if your like me,have no gear at all and kill Skath with your bare hands =)

Found it!

Feed it 3 big combat magic scrolls,then 4 really small potions,it will grow because of the scrolls but it's bonus will be potions!

Repeat until it grows.

Ok my party gold is 7 numbers long so this might not work for everyone =-

My newly purchased Fire Elemental is running out of mana like crazy,what do you feed a combat magic pet to stop it running out of fire after about 22seconds?

because they do more damage?

because they gain powers no-one else has?

because some of them are cute?

because they always match your level?

because they reach full power much quicker than characters?

because even as babies they rip your foes apart ...

Tauren look big though.

On a purely ornamental note:

Tauren are bigger and their mounts are bigger.
not that means anything it just makes you look bigger =)
