Re: Skyrim to mod or not to mod? That's the question...

I wouldn't want to miss mods in Skyrim.
Many are optional but some are a must for me.

What would you seek in mods?

This seems to go really off topic.

I rather like Skyrim because of its vastness, why would there be a villian behind every rock?
The "dull" quests give it more depth to me aswell.

I dont like the course that bioware went lately, the direction Mass Effect went for example.
But there is the ...

I really enjoy the elder scroll games. The sandboxesk games allow for so many great mods.
Since I'm using well more than 100 mods right now, it would be a little to much to list all.
So I'll stick to the questmods I really enjoyed.

As far as I remember you have to wait until the water rises to a pretty high level and then a hole should appear above the head of the statue. I seem to recall that a piece of the statue's head will break off revealing the way...

You make some excellent points, but you are also missing something.
No matter how you see it, it still is "just" an hack and slay, and they are a little outdated.
I totally agree on the skilltree-part. There are many different ways you can play a toon though.
As i play a Mage i will give some ...

I really liked TOEE, but i must admit my opinion is biased.
I run the Dungeon a few times as a Pen & Paper, but never managed to finish it.

As for the story, i liked it although its quite old school d&d, because its a real old adventure.

The fights, atleast in my opinion, are much harder as ...

QuenGalad wrote:Throne of Bhaal is rather railroaded and doesn't allow much wriggle room for your character's decisions. It does offer a satisfying closure to the series, though, and quite a lot of Bhaal-worthy bloodshed :)

Unless they are a Paladin of course, at least in table top AD&D, even minor transgressions end up with some form of atonement. Aiding and abetting evil by surrendering a Vorpal blade would end up in a lively debate with the majority of DMs, possibly resulting in the Paladin becoming a mere ...

The main protagonist is not at war with the Gith though, as they rarely visit the Prime, both Humans and Gith are both at war with the Illithids though, so going by the saying that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", he should have it.

a fair point, but lawful good people dont usually think ...

You equip a weapon to each hand, leftclick right hand right click left hand.

the major problem is that you can not block anymore, obviously you have quite a fast attackspeed that way and do quite a lot of dmg, but i prefer a 2h becuase you can still block "some" dmg and CLEAVE :D

There's a thread suggesting that casters don't scale well at higher levels, so maybe that's something to avoid. I'm playing a mace and shield warrior, and the game started getting pretty easy around level 30.

Whatever type of character you end up selecting, Bretons get the best racial bonus and ...

This is a decision you need to make on your own in the end. It depends on a lot of factors for example, what do you WANT to play
do you like warriors/thiefs or Mages
do you prefer 1h/shield or 2h or do you want to dualwield, maybe you prefer to kill your enemys from a save distance with a bow.
Would ...
