Heya!

I have a problem: every time huge spells like the root thingy or web spells are used it starts to lag insanely much. Very annoying and it's very werid because I got a kickass computer which shouldn't have any problems with Baldur's Gate at all. :confused:

Anyone got any idea why this ...

Is it enough with the same level or do I have to be one higher? Imoen is now level 6 thief and level 6 mage, but she doesn't seem to be able to use her thieving abilites?

Well, that's what I thought. But, it doesn't seem to work. I still don't get the +1 dmg.

Hm. Works on some items, but not on the arrows. Is there any way to learn how to identify an item again if you find one more of an item you've already identified before?

I have a lot of arrow +1 which I haven't identified yet. I identified one and then I thought I just could do it with the rest without the spell, but that didn't seem to work. Do I really have to identify every pile with the spell, in the shop or with a scroll?

I want to dual Imoen because I myself play a thief. But, when I dual her she can still use her thief abilities like looking for traps, right? Because, my character are better at open locks and pickpocketing.


How does dual-classes work? Say a thief/mage.

If I play thief should I dual Imoen to mage as fast as possible or when? It's kind of unnecessery to have to thieves, right?

Any thoughts about my ranger?

I decided to test playing a ranger too and I wonder if these stats are good enough:

S:18/79
D:18
C:18
I:10
W:14
C:13

I heard that it's unnecessery to have more than 14 wisdom on a ranger/paladin, because it doesn't make any difference. Is this correct?

I'm a human and hm.. maybe I should go multi-class and to the one who asked if I was going to solo it the answer is no.

I rerolled now and got 64 point again. This time I I took away two points from constitution and put one in intelligence and one in wisdom.

Do you guys think this is good for a thief? I don't think I want to dual-class later.

With 18 C I can get the +1 dagger in Candlekeep which is great!

I "multi-classed" Imoen before going into the mines (thief/mage) and now I can't use the find traps ability which is needed :speech:. On the char info it says that the thief class i unactive - how to I fix ...
